The board's justification
Daniel is an excellent young epidemiological researcher who impressively uses state-of-the-art epidemiological methods in his research within nutritional epidemiology, and has worked with the target trial framework, g-computation and Mendelian Radomization, among other things. Daniel has a very impressive scientific output, despite his young PhD age, and has also contributed significantly to epidemiological teaching, among other things through a PhD course in nutritional epidemiology. He is an active communicator of epidemiological knowledge, e.g. via podcasts, and has established several new collaborations and networks across international research institutions.
