Early bird registration for DES Summer Meeting 2025 ends soon!

Don’t miss out on the early bird registration for the DES Summer Meeting 2025 in Copenhagen! The meeting will be held on June 2nd, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Section of Social Medicine, Department of Public Health, University of Copenhagen. This theme is "Measurement Error and Information Bias in Epidemiological Research", and we are thrilled to have confirmed speakers such as: Alissa Koski (McGill University, Canada), Pamela A. Shaw,(University of Washington, Seattle), Maarten van Smeden (Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, UMC the Netherlands) and others. 
 
Make sure to register before the early bird deadline, which is until May 1st, to take advantage of discounted rates. The early bird price is 150 DKK for DES members and 650 DKK for non-DES members, after which the rates will increase. Link to the program with the full list of speakers here.


Submit Your Abstract for the DES Summer Meeting 2025

Would you like to present your work at the DES Summer meeting June 2nd, 2025? We invite you to submit an abstract for a short oral presentation (approximately 10 minutes) on topics related to information bias or measurement error in epidemiological research.Four abstracts will be selected for presentations, providing an excellent opportunity to share your findings and engage with fellow epidemiologists.
 
Submission Guidelines:

  • Topic: We welcome presentations broadly related to information bias/misclassification/measurement error, including, but not limited to: methods development, applied and descriptive examples, and use of methods to correct for such errors and biases.
  • Abstract Length: Maximum 300 words
  • Deadline: May 1st, 2025
  • Send your abstract to: dansk.epidemiologisk.selskab@outlook.dk
  • Submissions from researchers at any career level are welcomed
  • Selected speakers will be notified 1-2 weeks after the abstract submission deadline.
