Scientific Student Assistant in Global Development, Novo Nordisk

Epidemiology is looking for a Student Assistant to support our department with scientific and administrative tasks.

The job entails a broad range of tasks, e.g. assisting in literature searches and reviews, update the internal department website and preparation of slides.

About the department
The position will be anchored in Epidemiology, which is part of Global Development in Søborg, Denmark. This department consists of a team of 15 dedicated Epidemiologists and Data Scientists of various backgrounds and experience. In Epidemiology, we are responsible for supporting key development projects and launched products by providing epidemiological expertise based on literature and data.

The position
As a Student Assistant in Epidemiology, you will assist the team of Epidemiologists in analysing, validating, and communicating epidemiological knowledge. Moreover, you will assist the Department Director with minor administrative tasks.

You will be involved in various projects including non-interventional post-marketing studies and preparation of epidemiological reports to stakeholders. The tasks will include literature searches and reviews, validation of data in abstracts and proofreading of publications, preparation and validation of presentations and updating the department website.

The working time is estimated to be 15 hours per week but mutual flexibility is expected.

Qualifications
You are studying a relevant BSc/MSc programme related to Epidemiology and you have preferably 2 year until graduation. You have a strong interest and understanding of epidemiology and human biology, are proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and are fluent in spoken and written English. Familiarity with EndNote and PubMed is an asset.

You are dedicated, have excellent interpersonal skills, a good feeling for details, and have a positive mind-set.
