Munchen, Germany

Is (publishing) epidemiology history?

The International Journal of Epidemiology editorial team invite you to a conference to celebrate the successes (and failures) of journal publication of epidemiological findings and the ways in which epidemiology has developed over the 44 years of the journal’s existence.

The conference will explore aspects of the history and future of epidemiology, its relationships with other areas of science, funding, data access, public understanding and media interest in epidemiological findings.

Our speakers are drawn from a wide range of backgrounds and interests, reflecting the eclectic nature of the International Journal of Epidemiology

Date: 10am – 6pm, Friday 7 October 2016
Venue: Engineers’ House, Bristol BS8 3NB
Registration Fee: £20 (£10 for students)
Registration Deadline: Thursday 31 July 2016
